Today, I had the chance to explore a different part of London.
First up was the presentation! I think everyone did really well on their research and presentations. Job Well Done! I heaved a sigh of relief. Our work here now is almost done, and we would have the time to play around! ~
My Group :) Preparing for Presentation
DKLW
DKLW was indeed an eye opener. The place was magnificent and really high-class. Even their toilets were really clean and decorated.
The Process
They showed us a series of advertisements that they produced. I was remarkably amazed. There's one advertisement that struck me. It was this Charitable Advertisement they did where it showcased a futuristic advertising technology. It featured African women who want to start their own business. People who pass by the place can choose to donate to help them. They would be required to send their name to the screen where it would print their name as in "Thank You, (Your Name)".
Once they donated, a few coins will drop into the screen to make up the person's face. Once they have enough funding to fund the start of a business, the whole face of the person would be visible in the screen. It's super cool!
We were introduced to the process from the client brief to the end product. There are a lot of work and teamwork involved in order to make an end product from scratch. Hmm, maybe I would like to be in this line in future... ? Ahaha, just kidding :)
Look at their chairs!
Their chairs are really classy as well. It's cushiony and made of this special material (I don't know what material).
Our day was filled with talks and presentations. Next, we have the talk from the owner of any friends of ours.
The website, any friend of ours
The speaker, Ms Jo Goodson
The speaker was extremely entrepreneurial. She started this business with a small thought in her mind that she wants to rent her villa to her friends and relatives. It has become quite the business now. All the best to her future endeavors! :)
I have learnt quite a lot today, from the presentations from my peers, the talk from DKLW and any friend of ours. Today was a fruitful day!
Gooodnight :)
